Beacon Behind Bars

Bent County Correctional Facility and Arkansas Valley Correctional Facility have students awaiting sponsors so that they may begin classes. The cost for sponsoring one prison inmate for a complete year is $400. See Adopt-A-Student article for details on becoming a BBB sponsor. We have several other prisons also in need of sponsors for their students before they can begin classes.

Classes are held each Monday at AVCF and each Friday at BCCF. The schedule has not yet been set for other prisons.

Volunteers are also needed to bring these classes into the facilities. Volunteers may also take classes for credit at the discounted price of $125.
